Do I need a Referral?
A doctors referral is not required.
A referral from your doctor is only required if you are a Veteran Affairs patient if you are claiming via Workers Compensation or Third Party Insurance.
Can I Claim via my Private Health Fund?
Yes! We have HICAPS terminal which means that we can provide you with immediate claiming with your Private Health Fund.
You only need to pay the gap on the day you visit.
Check with your health fund to determine how much your out-of-pocket expenses will be.
We are Preferred Providers with Medibank Private, BUPA which means you will get the best rebate from your Private Health Fund when you visit us.

Cancellations
Please be courteous to us and others requiring treatment by contacting the clinic as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. Failing to attend a scheduled appointment or providing us with late notification to cancel an appointment may result in a cancellation fee been administered. Please contact us for our current cancellation policy.
Funding Options:
Private: Payable at time of consult
WorkCover: You require a current Workcover Certificate from your doctor (and claim number) requesting physiotherapy or exercise physiology. We can then invoice WorkCover directly.
Comprehensive Third Party Insurance (CTP): You require written approval provided by your CTP company. We can then invoice your CTP company directly.
Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA): You require a current D904 (or medical certificate with DVA number). We can then seek payment directly from DVA.
Medicare General Practitioner Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP): Patients with a valid GPCCMP referral are welcome to attend Rothwell Physiotherapy. Upfront payment of the full consult fee is required at time of consult. You may then be eligible for a Medicare rebate, of which will then be credited to your nominated bank account. It is important that patients attending with a GPCCMP manage the total of number of services they access across other disciplines and other clinics. The number of sessions allocated under the referral must not be exceeded. Any sessions that exceed the eligible number referred will not attract a Medicare rebate.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): We are NDIS Registered Providers. We are able to provide services for Participants who are Self Funded, NDIA Agency Funded and Plan Managed. Contact us for further information. To register with NDIS (or check if you are eligible please visit their website).
Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Services (QPRS): For children aged 0-18 years referred directly by QPRS post surgery and post botox intervention. We can then seek payment directly from Qld Children’s Hospital.
